Assault of thoughts - 4/22/2013

"Words ought to be a little wild, for they are the assault of thoughts on the unthinking" - JMK

- Miles Kimball shares gender and labor market tweets, including a recent one by me

- Razib Kahn on a Bill Maher clip comparing Muslim and Christian fundamentalism, but even more importantly how these groups fare under American secularism vs. the alternatives

- A nice sentiment, but screw Jupiter. I can't grow a garden on Jupiter.

Girls and Boys

- Couldn't agree more with Alex Tabarrok on apprenticeships.

-Regular reader Blue Aurora has informed me that Michael Emmett Brady has had his article on Keynes and Boole published in the History of Economic Ideas.

  1. "in the History of Economic Ideas"

Sorry if I come across as pedantic, but...

Isn't that technically incorrect, when it comes to forming sentences? It looks like you're missing one or two words that should go before the journal's name. Shouldn't it be, "the Italian journal..." (or just "the journal...")?'s another way to get to History of Economic Ideas, 2012, Volume XX, Issue 3. You can buy the entire issue in PDF from the following link:

The ISSN for History of Economic Ideas is 1724-2169, the ID for Vol. XX, Issue 3 is 2569179, and the accession number for Brady and Arthmar's article is 2569189.

The DOI for their latest article needs to be made, I think...

    1. It's fine as far as I'm concerned.

You didn't lead "History of Economic Ideas" in your fourth paragraph in that way, after all :)

      Thanks for the pdf link.
