A good point to keep in mind when parsing poetic license is one from V for Vendetta: "Artists use lies to tell the truth. Politicians use lies to hide the truth." That's the only standard I think we ought to expect. I never called for a treatise and I never heard anyone else call for a treatise out of a youtube video. Do we have a more truthful or a less truthful total picture of the positions that are presented?
