On Christmas Eve I roasted a goose, and it was well worth the departure from the typical Christmas turkey or ham. Here is the spread:

I was invited to the friend's celebration once and I remember how I fruitlessly tried to cut through the thick goose skin with but a dull tableware while minding my manners :D

I'm soooo jealous. I have always wanted to try goose -- eating every bird I possibly can is high on my list of life to-dos! -- but it's just too expensive to justify for us at this time! Was it as amazing as I hope it is?
