Pretty sad to see. Virginia has leaned more right for awhile, due to the inherent climate in this part of the country although I haven't personally minded it as much in the case of Virginia.
The French Left is of course quite an ideal to live up to, although I thought the American Left did well when it was in greater prominence.

As I read the title I was expecting to see something about opinion polling ... as I was doing that the check list went through my head ... Jerry Brown has won the summer, etc. Then I figured out what the article was about.
