Remember that Deirdre just HATED George Stigler and so, I think, may have exaggerated the disagreement. You'll see soon, assuming they don't edit it out, how I handled it in tomorrow's WSJ op/ed.

As I note in the last post, I think this whole spiel is unbelievably overstated - certainly for today, probably for yesteryear too. But even aside from that point it was a really excellent summation from Pete.
