Speaking of Keynes related material

I saw Treatise on Money in the used bookstore the other day. This one is very hard to find, so I was excited to come across it...

...until I saw the $300 price tag.

  1. You can get a $24.50 reprint on Amazon:

  2. You'd think they'd republish it, but you'd think a lot. What is necessary is a Mises Institute for Keynesian economics, or maybe even economics in general -- it just focuses on re-publishing old books. I'm sure people would donate to such an organization.

  3. Ya - this one was just so pretty! It was the 1958 edition.

  4. @Catalan: A publishing company called Augustus M. Kelley did sell a "Reprints of Economic Classics" series, but I don't know if the company is still in existence.

  5. I had a similar problem with finding Bentham's Of Laws in General, which is a necessary read for any legal philosopher. At one point, the only copy I could find was over $600!
