This is my American economic thought shelf. He's sitting on Joseph Dorfman's trilogy on the subject (I've read the first, and would like to read the second this summer).
That is Parrington's classic under his head, and Drew McCoy, Charles Beard, W.E.B. DuBois, Frederick Jackson Turner, Thorstein Veblen, and Edward Bellamy under his tail.
It looks like a nice collection of books you have there. Also, while this is a little late, it's good to see your new cat, Bartleby!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of American economic thought Daniel Kuehn, have you ever heard of Perry Mehrling's book on American monetary thought?
