...for example, when I ramble on about how Tesla was awesome and Edison was a jerk.
Then yesterday she shared this with me. She does listen! I guess I should be careful about what I ramble about. Edison gets clobbered in it of course. Interestingly enough they reference J.P. Morgan but they don't mention him by name.
My fiance doesnt, she just smiles and nods. I was a corporate attorney, now Im getting a PhD in philosophy (political, legal), she's a tax attorney. Tax people's eyes tend to glaze over at the mere mention of philosophy. Very Homer Simpson.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, women can multitask more effectively than men. I have many times said something to my girlfriend thinking that she wasn't listening at all, only to find her bring it up weeks or even months later in conversation.

ReplyDeleteI guess this explains why Nilola has started a car company...make a litte $$$ and exact some revenge on Thomas. Hopefully he can figure out a way to get more than 2 hours out those goddamn bateries.
ReplyDeleteEdison may have been a jerk but not as big as the one that figured those 2 should share a NP
ReplyDeleteTo be fair the wireless energy and earthquake machines are unlikely to have been real. But that does not detract from the fact that Tesla was a genius and Edison a jerk.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there is significant value in figuring out how to commercialize a product and make it available to the world. It's just not quite as cool.
